Central Students is a place for middle and high school students to learn the truth about who God is and who they are because of Him.  We hope to partner with parents as we lead the next generation to discover and fulfill their purpose in Christ.  We all know these years are tough.  Students will face challenges and pressures in their daily life.  Our goal is a simple one – to provide students with a safe, comfortable, and fun atmosphere where they can worship, grow, learn, and invite friends.  Students connect through small groups and use their talents as they serve alongside our leaders.  Besides weekly gatherings, annual trips and events are a big part of Central Students.  Missions trips to Jamaica, youth conventions, and our very own Color Run are just a few of the events we offer for our students.  We hope that Central Students will start to make an impact in their families, schools, communities… and in the world.

To better minister to students, we offer two age-appropriate peer groups that meet on a weekly basis.  Central Students: Varsity is for high schoolers (grades 9-12) and Central Students: JV is for middle schoolers (grades 6-8). We hope that students will be able to engage with friends their age and dive deeper into issues that pertain to their age group.  Both Varsity and JV will come together throughout the year for larger Central Students events.

HIGH SCHOOL students from both campuses meet at the White Marsh Campus every other Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. Please enter through the green door on the side of the building and take the stairs to the 2nd floor. There you will find our Student Room – a spacious area used to provide students with music from our live worship band, video presentations, games, food, an engaging Bible message, and the fun “9 Square in the Air” game. On weeks when students don’t meet at our White Marsh campus, students meet in small group settings at various locations around Baltimore and Harford counties. We believe that sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Student Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible.

MIDDLE SCHOOL students meet at both campuses each Sunday morning following the music portion of the Sunday Morning Worship Experience.  A team of leaders teach life lessons and engage students with games, activities, and illustrations.  Middle schoolers will have a chance to move and let go in this laid back atmosphere while their parents remain involved in the weekend worship experience.

Our Student Room is located at our White Marsh campus and was designed specifically for students. Both Varsity and JV use this room for their weekly meeting and events. Highlights of this room include a pool table, ping-pong table, foosball table, air hockey table, TVs, gaming systems, and a Café! Our goal is to help students build relationships with one another as they continue to seek and focus on their relationship with God.
