WHAT IS CENTRAL KIDS?

Every weekend all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We believe that even the youngest child can learn the basic principal that Jesus loves them, and our objective has always been to benefit the children in our care rather than baby-sit. We have a well-trained staff of caring, loving people who will be ministering to your children. From changing diapers and singing lullabies in the nursery to teaching concepts and scriptures to elementary school children, all are cared for in age appropriate settings with activities and games to capture their attention.

We would love to see you and your family visit Central Kids at a Central campus this weekend. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

CHECK-IN

When you arrive, look for the area designated for check-in. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our Dream Team members will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen in the sanctuary. We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

If it’s your first time, we will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

THE RIDE HOME

On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” It’s our goal that every child has a positive answer to these two questions, every week!

SPECIAL ENVIRONMENTS

SPECIAL NEEDS

Central Kids welcomes children of all abilities into each classroom! In addition, we provide a class at our White Marsh Campus only known as “His Hands” for children with special needs who would benefit from a partially inclusive or completely self-contained class. With compassionate and committed teachers, the class is designed to enable each child to learn and grow spiritually in accordance with his or her unique abilities through a variety of fun and engaging activities.

NURSING ROOM

A mom’s nursing room is available at our White Marsh Campus. This is a “Moms Only” room for women to hear the service in a more private and quiet environment.
