Q: How much is admission to Destination Christmas?
A: Destination Christmas is 100% FREE! It’s our gift to the community.
Q: How much are photos with Santa?
A: We will have professional lighting and a studio quality backdrop set up in Santa’s Workshop for pictures with Santa but we’re leaving the picture taking up to you. (That way we can keep this event totally free for our community) Make sure you bring your smart phone or camera to capture this magical moment with your little ones. If you want a shot with the whole family, we’re sure Mrs. Clause or one of the elves would be happy to snap one for you!
Q: What ages is Destination Christmas appropriate for?
A: There’s something for kids and adults of ALL AGES. For the most part, you’ll walk through Destination Christmas at your own pace and we’ve done our best to include something in each section that the whole family can enjoy. You can spend as long as you’d like in each area or skip some altogether.
Q: Is Destination Christmas an indoor or outdoor event?
A: Both! Much of the walk-through experience takes place indoors but some elements (like the fire and animals) are much safer if kept outside.
Q: What is the Tinsel Trail Wagon Ride?
A: Think hay ride - but with WAY MORE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS.
Q: Do I need to get there right at 5:30? How long does it last?
A: Festivities run continuously from 5:30-8:30pm on both nights so you can join us at whatever time works best for you. The musical light show and Christmas story will last about 15 minutes and will repeat every 20 minutes. For the rest of the walk-through experience, you’re welcome to move at your own pace and spend as much time in each section as you’d like.
Q: Can I bring my stroller?
A: Destination Christmas takes place throughout our entire building which includes multiple sets of stairs. To help manage the flow of traffic, strollers will not be allowed upstairs. We will have designated areas at each staircase to park your stroller on the lower level. If at all possible, we recommend leaving your stroller at home.
Q: Is Destination Christmas handicap accessible?
A: Absolutely! Destination Christmas takes place throughout our entire building which includes multiple sets of stairs. If stairs are a challenge for you or someone in your party, just let one of our hosts know (they’ll be the smiling faces in Santa hats) and we’d be happy to escort you to the elevator.
Q: Are there accommodations for individuals with special needs?
A: On Wednesday, December 4 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm we will be offing a “Lights Up, Volume Down” version of our Destination Christmas walk through experience for individuals with special needs and their families. We just ask that you visit the following link and complete the form to let us know you’re coming. - LEARN MORE
Q: Is there a charge for the food and drinks?
A: Some stops along your journey through Destination Christmas will feature treats like marshmallows, cookies, and hot cocoa. These items are free! In addition, our coffee bar, Central Cafe, will be open and will offer even more treats and drinks for sale.
Q: Destination Christmas is right at dinnertime. Will there be other food available?
A: Yes! This year Chick-Fil-A will be here and will have chicken sandwiches for sale!
