Founded by Pastor Terry Kirk, his wife Carol, and a small group of believers, Central Christian began on July 10, 1983. Shady Spring Elementary was home for the first five years.
In June 1988, Central purchased property and broke ground on a building on Rossville Blvd. in White Marsh, Maryland.
Over the years Central has expanded it’s footprint many times to better serve it’s growing community. The most significant change happened in 2003 with the addition of the Atrium and Education Wing.
In 2009 Central launched it’s second campus in Bel Air, MD. The Bel Air campus meets at the Armory located on Main Street in the heart of Bel Air, Harford County.
After serving alongside his father, Terry, for many years, Larry transitioned into the role of lead pastor and continues to build on the foundation that was built in 1983.
