The Rhythm is a collection of gatherings and events for middle and high school students designed to let them be themselves and discover who they’re meant to be all at the same time. It’s our goal at The Rhythm to offer a safe and engaging atmosphere for students to relax and have fun; as well as grow in their relationship with God and each other.
This weekly gathering happens every Wednesday night from 7:00-8:30 PM. Middle and high school students enter through the green door at White Marsh or the main doors at Bel Air. Games, snack, and live music set the tone for an evening that is designed to engage students and give them a fun, safe place where they can hang out with friends. A short inspirational talk each week aims to address issues that face their generation and then point them to the truth of God’s Word. We want students to walk in rhythm with the plans that God has for their lives. We want them to discover and fulfill their purpose in Christ.
THE RHYTHM: MIDDLE SCHOOL(White Marsh Only)
Sunday mornings following the music portion of the weekend worship experience, middle schoolers meet in a laid back, small group setting for games, snacks, and discussion led by a Rhythm staff member. It’s here that students get to go a little deeper in their walk with God. The focus of this time is give students an safe place to share what’s going on in their lives and also discover their purpose in Christ.
About once a month, students are invited to participate in a special event either on or off the Central campus. Picnics, lock-ins, and parties are some of the things you might see going on at The Rhythm. We also offer trips to sporting events, youth conventions, theme parks and more. So stay tuned here or check us out on social media to see what events are coming up for your student.
THE RHYTHM REACH
Throughout the year, Rhythm students have the opportunity to travel locally and abroad for outreach based events. We partner with organizations throughout Baltimore and all over the world to give our students opportunity to participate in social service and justice projects. Whether it’s a neighborhood clean up or telling kids about Jesus in a third world country… The Rhythm is dedicated to its mission to help students, here and around the world, discover and fulfill their purpose in Christ.
